Password Generator
Generate strong, secure, and random passwords with customizable options.
What a strong password generator is solving
Humans are bad at randomness, and we reuse patterns that attackers model quickly. A generator helps you create long, less predictable strings with a mix of character types. This reduces the chance that a reused password in one leak becomes the key to another account. Pair strong passwords with a reputable password manager when possible.
Use the tool
How to use the controls effectively
Increase length first—length often helps more than exotic symbols alone. If a website rejects some symbols, turn off the symbols category or use a “safe for legacy sites” pattern if available. If you must write a password down temporarily, store it in a way that is not photographable in public and then move it into a password manager and destroy the paper copy.
Reality check on risk
A generated password is only one part of account security. Multi-factor authentication, phishing awareness, and recovery codes still matter. This tool is not a security audit and cannot detect whether a website stores passwords well on its servers.
